Our blogs are a bit like buses - For ages nothing, then all of a sudden, two come along at once!
We've been to Italy for the second time in quick succession, for an inspiring 'factory' visit to learn about one of our favourite brands - 'Nardi Outdoor'.
'Alright for some', you may be thinking, but a super early 3:30am start & whirlwind turnaround with not even a spoonful of yummy gelato in sight, was the reality.
Nardi Garden Furniture Headquarters
Our destination, 'Chiampo' situated in Northern Italy, between Verona & Venice to be precise, the headquarters of Nardi Outdoor.
As you can see, we managed to take some amazing photos of their cool & contemporary showroom but unfortunately weren't allowed to take any photos of inside the factory.
That being said we were amazed to see the manufacturing and recycling process - The factory was one of the cleanest & organised we have ever seen!
Nardi produce extremely high-quality garden chairs, tables, benches, stools, modular sofas & more with a low environmental impact. Nardi products are made from resin, making them light-weight, durable and weather proof. We saw the raw materials being shaped into stylish garden furniture items which were also highlighted around the showroom. We love Nardi's eco credentials as garden furniture in the past has been such a 'throw away' industry.
Doga Our Favourite Outdoor Set!
Not only is Nardi furniture stylish but colourful. We enjoy pairing garden chairs & tables into more affordable sets which are now available online. We especially love the Doga coffee table and Doga relax chairs in pear or 'perra' if you're Italian. The marsala colour has also been a customer favourite this year.
